About Labb Consulting
Labb builds and runs cloud platforms and software for companies whose business depends on them running. Our engineers have spent 25 years inside automotive groups, airlines, marketplaces and telecoms, and now bring that to teams of ten to a few hundred people.
How we work
The engineers you plan with are the engineers who build and run it, from the first call to the last deploy.
Infrastructure as code, decision records and runbooks are part of every delivery. If Labb disappeared tomorrow, your team could keep running.
We have run very large platforms and know what they cost. We recommend a single server when a single server is right, and we say so in writing.
Kipper exists because we wanted Kubernetes that runs on any Linux box. The same thinking applies to every tool we choose for you.
Work
Direct clients of Labb and earlier projects delivered by its engineers, through employers and partner consultancies. Every entry names the kind of work, so you can judge whether it resembles yours.
Names are shown for projects Labb's engineers delivered directly or through the partner consultancy named in the entry. Company names are used as references to past projects.
The team
Labb is a core team of senior engineers with a network of specialists we have delivered with before. Every engagement has one responsible Labb engineer, and every person on it is senior in their field.
Accounts, networking, security and cost on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure and Hetzner. Everything as code.
Cluster design, hardening and operations on managed clouds or plain servers. The people who wrote Kipper.
Services and integrations in Java, Kotlin and Go, from marketplaces to automotive dealer platforms.
Web applications and marketing sites in Vue and Nuxt, built for speed, accessibility and search.
Assistants, document search and automation on cloud models or on a private LLM in your own cluster.
Milestones, documentation, runbooks and training, so your team can operate what we build.
