We built Kipper because most teams can run a handful of services well on servers they already pay for. It installs the cluster, SSL, storage, monitoring and a web console on any server, and deploys apps straight from container images.

Straight answers
Which cloud should we use?
Usually the one your team already knows, unless cost or data residency says otherwise. We run production on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure and on plain Linux servers at European providers, so the recommendation follows your workload and your bill.
When is Kubernetes the right call?
When you run several services, need zero-downtime deploys or want an environment per branch. Up to that point a single well-run server with a container runtime carries more than people expect, and we say so. When Kubernetes earns its place, Kipper gives you a full platform on servers you own, and the managed cloud offerings remain an option when the scale justifies the bill.
Who does the work?
Senior engineers who have run systems for Volkswagen, Bentley, Renault and Deutsche Glasfaser, among others. Every conversation with Labb starts with an engineer, and the engineers you meet are the ones who work in your repositories and on your incidents, from the first call to the last deploy.
How do you charge?
Assessments are fixed price. Builds are estimated per milestone. Operations are a monthly retainer with a defined scope and response time. You always know the number before work starts.
Where is your data held when you add AI to our software?
Wherever you decide. We build on Claude, OpenAI, Gemini or EU-hosted models such as Mistral, and with Kipper AI the model runs inside your own cluster, so your data stays on your servers.
